SENSATIONALISM!

OK. Who else will go viral? What will be the next scandal? What's the next outrageous story for shock value? People that have large online followers are given access to social media platforms as well as other venues, to bombard and influence  everyday people with the latest, shocking stories for "sensationalism". Why? 

Because Sensationalism on social media sells! It's a billion dollar industry! 

But who's REALLY making the money?

 Certainly NOT the hardworking, everyday person. 

WHO'S MAKING THE BIG MONEY?

While everyday people are reacting, arguing or holding conversations about the latest shocking story, there are high profile people raking in thousands of dollars behind the scenes and are becoming very rich by creating dark, bizarre stories, mockery, lies, and exposure of personal secrets to get the  public's attention. They are really the ones making the MAJORITY of the money because ATTENTION converts to money.  The more attention, the more money. High -profile people, clergy, singers, celebrities, rappers, etc.--- are the ones making most of the money while everyday people are receiving ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for their attention. 

We've also reached an all-time low in human morality, too--ANYTHING TO GO "VIRAL".  It is no accident also that scammers, deep fakes, extortionists, liars and thieves are now at the forefront of our world today. Using the "dark, unethical" way to make money--especially on social media as well as the "Dark Web", sends a subtle message that it's O.K. 'to go dark" and this has broken down the morality of societies across the world.  

What good is money if there is no longer a stable, cohesive society or world  to enjoy it? What good are new technological discoveries if it doesn't help the world to progress? Both technological discoveries and social media are supposed to move us forward, not backwards. These "dark creators" continue to make money--not progress, at the expense and manipulation of everyday, hardworking people. Sometimes, these bizarre stories can also used to "cover up" big agendas happening behind the scenes.  When the public's attention is diverted from what's REALLY going on in our world onto social media, then other plans and agendas happening behind the scenes that are not supportive of the masses of people, can move forward and be put to use behind the scenes. It's called a Diversion Tactic. Basically, "going viral" can sometimes be a "front" for something else. So, pay attention to the flow of money in corporations in our world's economy, important real news that is suddenly no longer discussed or newly introduced concerns that may or may not support the people or leadership options when viral stories are happening. Decisions about the above things are usually made when the public's attention is on something else--like social media viral stories.

Here's how "Sensationalism" and  money works: 

   1). High-profile people do not want to be forgotten or excluded from society. If high-profile people are forgotten or excluded in any way from society, they cannot make money , so they have to remain in the public eye by getting the public's attention to get what they need.  Most of this attention comes from social media which is the most convenient and effective way to get the attention.

    2). When high-profile people get attention on Facebook, Instagram, You tube, etc., they get "likes" or "dislikes" which convert to money. (Yes, dislikes can convert to money, too).  Then, the social media algorithm (recommendations) will work to find and send even more conflicts and more secrets about high-profile people to the social media "feeds" of everyday people because these people actually like the gossip and the "dirty details". High-profile people already know from polls and surveys taken, where these specific groups of people are, so they target and capitalize off of this data by sending more sensational stories to Facebook, Instagram, You tube, etc. to get more "likes" or "dislikes" from everyday people who often spend their time on these platforms.   It's about the numbers...

3).  Advertisers  will pay BIG money to the celebrity, clergy, rapper, or high-profile person who is getting the most attention on social media just to get a spot on the person's social media platform to advertise their products because advertisers know  that everyday people can be manipulated into buying their products which, in turn, makes both the advertiser and the high-profile person even richer. But, again, everyday people receive nothing for their attention.  Businesses will also pay big money to celebrities and people who have a large online following and find unique ways to advertise their products to the public as well. This is called an endorsement. This is how celebrities and influencers who have a large online following get paid. Advertisers will not bother to approach you if you don't have a large following.

TIME TO GET A GRIP! STOP GETTING CAUGHT UP IN THE HYPE OF SENSATIONALISM AND SHOCK VALUE TO ENRICH SOMEONE ELSE. ENRICH YOURSELF. MAKE YOUR OWN PROGRESS BY CREATING ALGORITHMS THAT LOOK FOR THE GOOD THAT YOU CAN DO. WHEN WE GET PEOPLE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE GOOD, MORE GOOD STUFF WILL COME TO US ON SOCIAL MEDIA. PAY ATTENTION TO THE GOOD STORIES ABOUT GOOD PEOPLE DOING GREAT THINGS ON SOCIAL MEDIA--STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO SCANDALS AND THINGS THAT RUIN OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES!  

PEOPLE ARE TIRED OF LOOKING AT SADNESS AND HOPELESS SITUATIONS, SCAMS, READING ABOUT MURDER AND THE ABUSE OF LITTLE CHILDREN!  Get a "good algorithm" going that brings harmony to the world. 

MAKE AN EFFORT TO SPREAD GOOD STUFF AND GO VIRAL!  ENRICH  YOURSELF!  THERE ARE PEOPLE AND ADVERTISERS WHO WILL PAY FOR THESE TYPES OF STORIES, TOO! 

DON'T JUST DO IT FOR THE MONEY, EITHER. DO IT BECAUSE TALKING ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS IN LIFE  HELP TO INSPIRE OTHERS AND SPREADING THE GOOD IS JUST THE RIGHT THING TO DO!
